Valentines Day

 Love Valentines day, everyday should be valentines day, doing fun things for those you care about...it's almost like Christmas.Lily dressed to impress in heartness. 

I decided it was time to meet my neighbors. I have been a hermit since we moved and Lily as born but heart shaped sugar cookies were the perfect way to say hello.

 This is a close up, my entire counter was full of 50+ cookies not including the fist size heart ones I made for my two valentines this year.

 I ate yours lily, but next year you can have it!

 By the time our little outing around our street was complete she was out.

I made this for luke this year, an idea from pinterest.I bought this jar from Hobby Lobby and filled it with fun size kit kats, butter finger,babe ruth candy bars then I wrote little notes and taped it to each of them, like a fortune cookie. I took advantage of the fact he is the only one who can read in the house and put some 'special' ones in there.

Happy V DAY

4 Months

Today Lily is 4 months. She went to the doctors and weighed in at 16.6 lbs (95 percentile) and 26 1/2 inches (99 percentile). When she was 2 months it was 13.3 lbs and 24 inches. Now if I could only take it off as fast as she puts it on.The doctor asked me how tall my husband is and then tells me what percentile for height Lily is; I plan on going to a sporting good store and investing in some volleyballs and basketballs and more importantly swimming goggles.
She loves to sleep. last night was 10pm to 8:30 this morning and she slept almost the entire way home from salt lake yesterday.She loves putting things into her mouth, hands are only second to food! She tried out some rice cereal this morning and loved it. She wakes up in the morning and carries on a conversation in her crib until I join her. So SOCIAL this girl loves to stare and smile at everyone. Note the tongue in the pic, she loves to show it off.

Gun Control

26!

It was a good day. Nap, lunch at Tucanos, package from mom, gifts from Luke Anne Geddes books and even had time to whip out and decorate a cake. Won't forget my first birthday with the best gift, Lily!

Sometimes, the daisy gets along with the Lily and sometimes she just has to pull the daisy off! I mean the Lily is obviously more cute than the daisy!
Let's just be grateful the rivalry was not like it was last Sunday.

Lily and aunt Brittany the day after Lily and I got there.Since Luke was still at home (since I missed our flight, still makes me sick) I thought I would take some pictures of her for his Christmas present. She looks like she is ready to punch me. Not to worry she only gives me attitude the first couple of shots.

What's with this, Eric found a tree and cut it down with this testosterone riddled hands. No..we just stole the tree. Figured they were not going to use it. Got something out of Turd-lock as B &C affectionately refer to it.Can use it for more fire pit.

 I ran into an old friend in Kohls and told her I would LOVE to take some maternity photos, good thing too, she had the baby early, the next week.

 Can you believe how good these lemons look.

You would think it was summer if it wasn't for the covered pool and leaves on the ground. I mean what else do you do with lemons besides make lemonade?
