A Little Vanity!

So I have been inspired lately to just do projects to the house, I mean whats the harm in a little paint, right?!
I dislike,that was the nice word, the color of the poop brown sinks and it just so happened to match the (poop)brown floor and (poop)brown wood, I have no prob with wood, just make it look nice.
And look nice it does!
I did try to use spray paint ,since it is cheaper and doesn't chip. That didn't work well so it made for a nice primer :)
Two coats and two knobs later the bathroom doesn't feel so poopy,
BUT just in case that is your kinda thing there are baby wipes readily available (as my bro pointed out)
cause lets face it, sometimes you might like a little luxurious baby "wipe" action. After all isn't that why baby butts are so cute ?

To Move or Not to Move?

Any time I leave her and turn around to find her asleep I fell like a bad mom. Who lets their kid fall asleep like that, but today I can deal. I decided to move asap without the spoon.

Lily decided she was going to fall asleep as I got to Winco

In my infinate motherly intuition (cough cough) I thought, oh she will wake up

once I take her out of her car seat.

Nope, I walked from the car -to the store- to get a cart- to get produce

-still asleep

Whatever, I held her butt on one arm and pushed the cart with the other

she usually doesn't snuggle up and sleep on me so no complaints here

by the time I had half my list done and debating on tortillas she decided to wake up from her

 slumber of 15 minutes

Diaries of a Garage Sale Queen #2

So I have had this little beauty in the garage, it was black if you can believe it. I got it for under $5 and the top of the table was using wooden pegs but with a drill and some screws that top isn't going anywhere. I painted it white and got a beaut-E-ful knob at hobby lobby at 50% off of course ($3). I printed off a quote that I loved on Pinterest http://pinterest.com/pin/55309901644399859/ swapped the picture out of the frame from TJ Maxx that was on clearance ($5) and used the brown metal jewelry tree ($3), another GS find. That with the extra Tangerine yellow candle in the closet completes my little table for around $16.
Now if only I was brave enough to do something with those walls....

 Had to do something after her 3 hr nap! And I was worried she wouldn't sleep as long in her crib as she does in her shrinking baby swing.
