I took these close ups a week after the blessing when I had some time. The dress only attached at the top, she's growing up so fast I can hardly keep up.I love the detail of the dress and the flower, her fingers little mouth and arms.PS, notice the pacifier, I've got a sucker baby!!! Who would have thought. I wonder if it would have worked with lily if I had known she just needed to be fed more.
Here are some pictures from the blessing day. She was quiet the whole time (miracle) considering she didn't finish the bottle in church and no one gets in between that girl and her food. She was blessed with lots of things but the one thing that I am reminded of is "You are a witness of God"....and isn't that the truth. Being a mom is hard work and draining but there is nothing that testifies more to me of God and his love for us than this little girl. Lily was not having it for pictures, can you say terrible twos, at least she is almost three. I mean full blown dead man drop crocodile tears screaming in the foyer and out of the church building.
Can't help but notice the perfect spot for Dylan's head.
