4 years ago March 30 I told Luke that I "Love him"

March 29th was a Saturday, Luke took me somewhere to play the piano and he told me that he had talked to his parents. I asked him about what, he said "You"!

Back at my apartment, before my roommates got home we were watching Pride and Prejudice on TV.During the commercial he kissed me and said"I think I love you"

I didn't respond back until the next day.

He went to church with me and my girlfriends. I wrote on his back I love you. He was leaning forward, no response, so I wrote it again. and again....

Later that night he wrote on my back "I love you 2"

Blooming

 Spring is here and flowers are blooming in Lily's room !

I have always found a reason to not decorate things, "Oh, when I have a house I will paint" or "When I won't have to move rooms I will hang pictures"
 Lily's room was lacking and since I have no reason to move her somewhere else anytime soon and I found this idea

with a little modification,
no double sided paper, layered with two flowers instead of one, I love it.
Not to taint my "awesomeness" (said in Jack Black Kung Fu Panda voice)

grand total $2.60
Not bad for awesomeness!

So Saturday was busy, refinishing kitchen table and slacked off on dinner. I thought I would compensate and make Banana Bread, easy right?!
I put the bananas in the blender, I don't want to mash them. Only measured half of what I needed for this recipe

Bedtime Stories

 Lily had her first bedtime story on 5/22,she was 5 months old. It went something like this...

 Look at the camera, Luke rolling his eyes....

 Look at the book....

 Touch the book...

 EAT the book!

 

 what else do you expect a teething baby to do, that's right folks, this girl's bottom TWO teeth have come through and it started on the 16th.

SO it was SUCCESS, until next time my avid reader!

The Sound of Music

 Can you guess what these are? Of course you can, as you can already see the rest of the pictures on the page, it's the new love of my life!

 Watch out for the new Beethoven ladies and gentleman, while looks might be deceiving this man in plaid can  tickle the ivories like no ones business.Lily was the first to grace the piano bench, I have a feeling she might spend hours on that in the future.

 When I need to get somethings done Luke's lap has become more entertaining.This might just be her first piano lesson...it went quite well!

Welcome to the family Mr. Grand, we will try to be nice to you, Lily especially.

Luck of the Galloways

St. Patty's weekend started off with a great rainbow, the best kind, when the sun starts to set and it is still sprinkling outside.

 Lily all ready for her friends to come over for an evening of fun

 Dinner was delicious, green everything. Jello, Chicken Alfredo, Asparagus, Spinach Kiwi Salad (Ahmazing) and to top it all off HOMEMADE Key Lime Pie.

She made new friends, anyone that can heave her into the air is on her LOVE list. Speaking of Love, I love that Brandrea are going to have a little girl.
SO excited for them, as you can see they will be amazing parents!

 Sunday would not be complete without spreading a little more green into the wardrobe.

So as you can see the lucky Galloways have a lot to be grateful for.

I already miss that less than a week old baby and how she can wrap her limbs around like that.
