Orange Lilies

 When you buy a house from a previous owner sometimes there are things you don't like or would have done differently. The backyard has been our summer project with the rocks, garden and such
But when these lilies came up I was so glad the other owners has chosen them. The orange with the purple looks so good and I love being outside to enjoy them

and I remember to always....consider the lilies :)

Don't fence me in :)

The time had come for a fence.We are not that interested in the 'open' lifestyle and I wanted to limit the chance of the girls wondering into the street. We have been putting most of our efforts into the yard while the weather is nice and tackling the weeds. We cleaned up all the garden area and by the tamp and got a new hot color cover for it and have been wheelborrowing 9cuft of gravel looking much better :)

Weekend vaca

 IT was hot so we headed to the splash pad so get our wiggles out

A side note, Noah was born the day I found out I was pregnant.

Father's Day

 Started the morning off with personalized pancakes for breakfast and then took a nice nap after church.

This dad loves pizza!!! So we whipped up homemade pizza and a fruit pizza( think big sugar cookie)

And lily helped :)

New hang out spot

When it is quiet I take a deep breath, cause that is ALL a busy mom wants- then I head to the new hang out spot these two can't get enough of. The mud/laundry room is definitely the cool place :) PS, lily really told me to take a picture and stuck a pose like the one above. I don't know where she gets this stuff!

Sweet treat

Got this sweet popcsicle tray from a garage sale for a quarter and tried my hand at making a homemade treat. a little pink lemonade and we have ourselves a winner foulks.

Madilyn Birthday

  

On Madilyn's First BIrthday we were all getting over being sick and I was in the throws so we sang happy birthday to her and opened some book presents and waited till the weekend to play with family and celebrate. I mean what would we really do with two dozen cupcakes anyways :)

 

She wasn't to sure with the cupcake and candle but then she was all over it, happy birthday, so glad you are here to keep us busy!
