November 27th Lily was blessed. My parents and brothers came up the Friday after Thanksgiving for it. It was beautiful. She usually doesn't like being held like that and she was in the middle of a feeding when she went up with Luke, so it was a recipe for some noise but she was so quiet until she came back down and then finished off her food. She was blessed with "the courage of Esther". It was surreal seeing my husband, which still feels like my boyfriend blessing our baby.
She has so much personality already...got the tongue and eyes going!
Uncle Dylan loves her, he would feed her a bottle and tote her around. He will be a great dad.
My dad is holding his only daughters little girl wearing the same dress as me, which was made by his mother, who also made Lily's blessing blanket.Two generations of Grandma Lemon's sewing talents.
My sister in law Jennifer had her daughter Kirsten back in August, so we got a picture of the two of them in their blessing dresses. They will be best buds. I can already tell. They seemed to mesh and share each others sleeping schedules well.
She is such a gift, Christmas came early this year!
